Any subscribed member on MyBreakTrip is considered a traveller. As a traveller, you can either create your own group trip (read here about being a Group Leader) or join a group trip created by someone else.
If you’re not the Group Leader type, you can join an existing trip. When you join a trip on MyBreakTrip, you become a member of that trip. Browse our Trip Board to view all open trips. Travellers on MyBreakTrip can join any public trip or accept an invitation to a private trip has been set up by a Trip Organiser or Group Leader (e.g. your friend or sports teammate).
There are two trip types available on MyBreakTrip; (1) private & (2) public.
(1) Private trips are suitable for travellers who wish to travel with their friends or family only. An example would be a hen do or stag party or a few friends travelling to celebrate a birthday. Private trips are only visible to the Group Leader and his or her invitees. Using MyBreakTrip for your private trip will benefit you from organizing everyone quickly, communicating into a single place, paying individually online and saving time & money.
(2) A public trip type allows travellers to find travel buddies on MyBreakTrip who share common interests or hobbies. Public trips are suitable for solo travellers, couples or small groups who happen to be going to the same destination or wish to group with others based on a common interest (e.g. a sport activity, music/concert event, etc.). By joining a public trip and travel with a group will get you a cheaper deal and give you the chance to mingle with other people.
